Cut your own wedding cake slice

At our wedding, we wanted dinner to feel less like a formal reception + more like an intimate dinner party. My mom helped me collect vintage cake knives + rather than formally serve slices of cake, we laid them out for guests to cut their own.

It felt personal, a little unexpected + created this sweet sense that even with a full crowd, everyone was gathered around the same table together.
